Why did President Bush's rubbish selection of songs on his iPod generate international publicity? It completely confounds me. Can someone tell me why the President's Playlist matters that much - he does not even know his music....

I see it like this - if the president's iPod represents his brain, then he's not using most of it, and his musical taste shows he hasn't tried anything new since the sixties.
